In my opinion, the south-facing slopes of most areas that hold deer are a great place to look for whitetail antlers!
Make sure to check these other hot spots as well for whitetail sheds. Make sure to check fence lines, deer trails, hedgerows and other land funnels such as saddles.
Make sure to bring plenty of water on your shed hunting adventure and also bring these items as well: GPS/Compass ~ Phone ~ Snacks ~ First Aid Kit ~ Toilet Paper
Make sure you check those bedding areas for whitetail deer sheds! I have found many antler sheds in bedding areas. This is one of my favorite areas to check.
If you want to find the shed antlers, then once again you have to go where the deer go. Make sure to check area water sources for shed antlers!
Big Bucks the Benoit Way: Secrets from America’s First Family of Whitetail Hunting This has been one of my all-time favorite deer hunting books.
